As President of the Broward Chapter for the Coastal Conservation Association, Mike spearheaded the effort to successfully deploy the first phase of a five-year project named the John Michael Baker Memorial Reef. The project is slated to be the largest ever in Broward County history at the conclusion of its construction in five years.

Mike chose the American Lung Association for his community project as part of his Leadership Broward program. The ALA hosted its annual Fight for Air Climb which is a 38 floor race to the top to promote lung health for firefighters.

KLW Wealth sponsored the Coastal Conservation Association Fun Shoot at Quail Creek. The event raised money for CCA Florida.

Mike joined Bressler Amery Ross in the I Care I Cure 5K Run at Nova University. The event was for raising awareness and funds to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Mike is a proud member of Leadership Broward Class 37. Leadership Broward’s Mission Statement is “to develop and inspire individuals to serve our community”. Since 1981, the Leadership Broward Foundation has continuously provided unique opportunities to cultivate expand and leverage the tremendous leadership resources of our community in order to bring about a stronger future for Florida.

Mike and Charles participated in the CCA’s Trash Tour that made a stop in Broward County. With help from 4Ocean, the event cleared over 1000 lbs. of trash from local waterways.

KLW Wealth and the CCA Broward were representing in the MIASF Waterway Cleanup by winning the Ugliest Trash Award.

KLW ran in Temple Dor Dorim’s first annual 5K. Charles and Mike took home first place in their age groups.

Charles and Mike teamed up with a local law firm to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Project in Everglades City after Hurricane Irma

Mike Lambrechts, President of the Broward Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) spoke at the chapter’s annual banquet where 200 members attended for a fun evening of raising money for the organization.

CCA Florida worked a booth in the Conservation Village at Tortuga Music Festival on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Mike (left) is pictured with several key people involved in the organization.

Every year one of the world’s top anglers, George Poveromo, hosts a seminar at the Southern Anglers in Lauderdale Fishing Club. Mike takes a lot of pride in providing a valuable experience for the members of his club.

In his spare time Charles is a Mentor of Take Stock in Children, Inc. a nonprofit organization, transforming Florida one student at a time.

Mike is the president of The Southern Anglers In Lauderdale (SAIL) Fishing Club, a group dedicated to knowledge, friendship, fishing, and giving back to the community.
